Legal Contract Analyst The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining and reporting from an enterprise-wide contract repository to include reading and interpreting contracts of all types for entry into the database. Responsible for overseeing the enterprise document retention policy. Issues preservation notices when required, Gather accurate information from contracting entities and departments, ensuring all information entered into database is correct. Conduct and maintain a proper filing system of contracts and other documents to provide efficient access. Provide timely notifications to the appropriate personnel regarding contracts that are nearing completion. Manage legal request intake process and track open projects. Create and provide regular reports of established legal department metrics. Prepare cover letters, basic legal termination letters and contract amendments. Manage content of legal department's enterprise intranet page.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 5+ years of file management and contract administration/coordination experience. High school education or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field required OR equivalent combination of education/experience combined (one year of education equals one year of experience) required. Computer knowledge, including use of all Microsoft Office Products; Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access is needed. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential. Prior office experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Experience working with legal databases is preferred. Experience reviewing contracts for key terms is preferred. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is desired. Should favorably be a certified Legal Assistant (CLA) or Certified Paralegal (CP).
