Denver office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks construction and design litigation attorney with 6-8 years of experience. The candidate will be taking and defending fact and expert depositions. Will be serving in expert engagement and preparation, expert disclosures and reporting. Management and delegation of work to paralegals. Must have experience in representing developers, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors. Trial and/or arbitration experience is always a plus. Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado. Should have computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Direct experience/interaction with insurance claims representatives, including reporting, case assessment, evaluation, and strategy required. Responsibility for handling own files/matters preferred. Experience with all facets of pre-trial discovery and preparation needed. Experience with all facets of pre-trial motions essential. Experience with large exposure cases, multi-party litigation, complex construction, and design matters needed. Experience with large document production and database matters essential. Should have first chair mediation experience. First chair trial/arbitration experience preferred. Should have construction contract drafting and negotiation; Schedule and payment claim experience. Marketing and business development interest is needed. Experience in drafting publications, articles, or legal presentations preferred.
