Entry Level Receptionist/Legal Assistant/Paralegal Duties: Answer incoming telephone calls and direct call traffic to the proper person. Creating and maintaining hard copy and electronic file system. Maintaining contact database. Monitoring and ordering office supplies. Collecting and sorting mail. Preparing outgoing correspondence. Making copies and scanning documents. Assist with scheduling and maintaining attorneyâ€™s calendar. Assist with developing presentation material. Document assembly, formatting, and court filings. Self-starter, dedicated to getting the job done. Ability to multi-task, with a keen eye for details, and a high level of organization. Maintain neatness and organization of Firm office areas with various administrative duties as outlined by the Office Manager.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have Paralegal course work and/or practical legal secretary experience. Previous Law Firm experience is a huge plus. Strong Customer Service, Software experience, Receptionist experience is required. Must be PC Literate, proficient in MS Office Suite and possess a friendly, professional and mature demeanor. Ability to work independently and as a team member with a high level of motivation and ability to meet goals. Have excellent telephone and customer service skills. Spanish speaking a plus.
