Contract Engagement Advisor The candidate will manage contractual advisor during the contract lifecycle, to include: pre-award (NDAs and teaming agreements, RFP reviews, development of proposal responses and negotiation strategies), and post award contract administration. Will lead the development and negotiation of terms & conditions. Create well-structured deals that meet IBM's financial/client goals. Serve as focal point interacting with client contracting officials throughout the contract lifecycle. Advise clients on the optimal way to structure transactions within IBM's delivery frame work and identify key deal points which affect revenue recognition; key elements require modifying customer documents & standard agreements, drafting agreements and engaging in direct negotiations with customers. JD degree will be considered. Bachelor's Degree is needed. Master's Degree is preferred. Should have 7+ years experience, including working in the Federal sector in pre-award and post award contract phases. Understanding and knowledge of federal procurement process and practices is needed. Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other agency regulations such as DFAR, etc. to include Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and working with various contract types is essential. Negotiation experience in the federal/public service sector environment is advantageous. Working knowledge of commercial contracting principles and terms and conditions is needed. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to apply in contractual and business situation is essential. Knowledge of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) is preferred. Experience with both Cost Reimbursable and Firm Fixed Price Contracts is preferred.
