Litigation Legal Assistant The candidate will format and construct various pleadings, correspondence and other legal documents. Manage correspondence between attorney and clients. Organize and maintain physical and electronic files. Oversight of individual client preferences, client accounts, and requests. Maintain attorney calendar. Electronic filing with Federal and State Courts. Service of documents. Provide proactive and advanced legal support. Other tasks as needed. Knowledge of court requirements and procedures required. Experience with the Federal and State Courts' electronic filing system required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Ability to meet required deadlines, multi-task, prioritize, organize, and work calmly under pressure required. High attention to detail, be proactive, and self-motivated required. Ability to both follow instructions, and to think and work independently required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Professional appearance and attitude required. 2 years of experience in a law firm preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. .
