Legal Fellow The fellow will work directly with General Counsel and associate attorneys on various projects including: 1. Health Law: licensing, privileging, and credentialing of medical providers; compliance with federal regulations on FQHC operations and funding; adjusting policies and procedures to healthcare reforms at the federal, state, and city level; compliance with the FTCA malpractice insurance program; HIPAA compliance; compliance with antitrust laws; 2. Litigation: Assisting with court pleadings, motions, appearances on housing matters involving program participants or external parties; 3. Transactional: Contract review and due diligence research on potential partners, consultants, government contracts, employment, and collective bargaining. 4. Compliance: Policy and procedure review for compliance with city, state, and federal statutes and regulations governing health center and housing programs. Term: 6 months
