Real Estate Paralegal
Responsibilities: Work closely with attorneys on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. Assist attorneys with due diligence. Prepare summary/timeline of Purchase and Sale Agreements. Draft title objections and responses to title objections. Draft real estate closing documents. Review real estate and loan documents. Oversee signature conferences for closings. Complete title and survey review. Provide extensive communication with title agents and surveyors. Communicate with county and local government regarding zoning regulations. Review closing/lender checklists and assist attorneys with fulfillment of closing requirements. Assemble final documents for closing. Prepare closing transcripts. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualification and ExperienceQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field or certificate from an accredited paralegal program. 3+ years’ experience in real estate transactions related to the borrower/buyer side. Must have thorough knowledge of legal principles and practices. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
