ProfileAttorney II The candidate assists attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, negotiations and drafting of correspondence. Reviews disciplinary files and the computer case management system. Drafts and prepares legal usable documents as directed. Assists in contacting licensees and counsel in an effort to negotiate settlements as directed. Files and maintains legal library materials. Drafts responses to inquiries concerning administrative law, civil and appellate procedure, labor law and other legal matters. Performs related duties as required. Must have a Juris Doctor degree or its equivalent from an accredited law school and experience as a practicing attorney. A member of the SC Bar in good standing and completion of the 403 requirements preferred.
