Senior Manager Quality Assurance Legal Response Center Duties: Responsible for the development and management of the Quality Assurance Team and is responsible for the accuracy of legal requests supporting the ranges of service, with activities relating to legal research, analysis / subscriber discovery and responding to subpoenas, court orders search warrants and data preservation requests. Individual will engage with all levels of management, ISPs, law enforcement agencies, legal entities, and subscribers on confidential legal matters representing the Comcast.net domain and its subscribers. Ensures that evidence collected or disseminated meets all company policies, legal and regulatory compliance criteria under Federal, State and local regulations. Processes law enforcement agency emergency requests in support of the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA). Reports directly to the Senior Director and provides executive leadership and guidance. Ensures that all LRC operational metrics are met. Acts as a custodian of records for the company which includes appearing as a witness at trial in order to certify the companies’ subscriber records. Acts as a liaison between team and the corporate legal department and assists in the interpretation of corporate policy Responsible for compliance with Local, State and Federal regulatory guidelines and legislation including the Electronics Privacy Act, the Cable Communications Policy Act of 1984 and the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA). Respond to law enforcement requests in matters of emergency or exigent circumstance by coordinating with requesting officials. Ensure proper documentation is received in each situation and within compliance with CALEA. Aligns operational plans with business objectives. Communicates changes to all affected personnel. Manages and forecasts resource needs to meet departmental objectives. Recommends action plans or solutions to management. Develops, trains, mentors and motivates staff members in accordance with best practices and procedures developed by management. Participate in rotational on call status for emergency disclosures.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Legal, Paralegal Studies, Engineering. 8-11 years' related experience.
