Bankruptcy Attorney

Mount Laurel office of our client seeks a bankruptcy attorney with 2+ years of experience handling a wide scope of bankruptcy matters or equivalent experience with creditor/debtor litigation, ideally in federal court. The candidate will handle a running caseload of contested/complex bankruptcy matters and bankruptcy adversary proceedings. Position responsibilities include daily review of inbound referral placements, daily review and approval of draft pleadings/claims/orders prior to submission for client approval and/or court filing; daily review of inbound CM/ECF electronic service; hearing prep and attendance; discovery; settlement negotiations; real estate title claims; security interests; review of default mortgage servicing issues; research and writing on bankruptcy topics, etc. Should be admitted to federal and bankruptcy courts in states of licensure with CM/ECF e-filing credentials in-hand. Must be licensed to practice in NJ and PA. A strong understanding of secured creditor issues is needed.
