Part-time Legal Assistant / Paralegal The candidate responsibilities will include: Support for attorneys; Drafting, typing, printing and proofing litigation pleadings, estate planning documents and other instruments; Answer phones from time to time, operate switchboard, and routing calls; Greeting visitors and clients; Calendar management; Act as liaison between vendors and office; Track all inventory and order supplies for office; Open new files by following firm procedure; Establishing and organizing case files; tracking and meeting deadlines; Keep clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress; Manage and update firm database; Manage mail and delivery packages from time to time; Maintain a clean office environment; Other responsibilities as required. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a small or medium law firm is required. A bachelor's degree is preferred, as is a Notary Public commission.
