Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a Technical Advisor to join its dynamic Patent Prosecution & Litigation Practice Group, focusing on Electrical Engineering & Software. Duties:

• Provide technical expertise to assist with patent prosecution and litigation in the Electrical Engineering and Software domains.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and patent agents to analyze technical documents and prepare patent applications.
• Review and evaluate complex technical materials, such as prior art, claims, and inventions, ensuring accuracy and clarity in patent filings.
• Contribute to the preparation of legal briefs, opinions, and other intellectual property-related documents.
• Assist with the preparation of patent litigation cases, including providing technical support during discovery and trial phases.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in relevant technologies, including wireless communication, 5G/6G, and 3GPP standards.
• Conduct in-depth technical research to support litigation and prosecution efforts.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong academic background with exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Prior experience in patent prosecution or litigation is not required but is a plus.
• A keen interest in technology, particularly in the fields of software and electrical engineering.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline.

Skills:

• Strong technical analysis and research skills.
• Proficiency in reviewing technical documents and legal texts.
• Ability to break down complex technical concepts into clear, concise language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
