Assistant Attorney General
The candidate will join the Litigation Bureau. Will handle all phases of litigation from inception through trial, and have frequent opportunities to appear in court. Should preferably have 5 years of federal and/or state court civil litigation experience, including experience handling civil rights or 42 U.S.C. § 1983 actions with 2+ years of experience (including judicial clerkships, if any). Superior writing, analytic, oral advocacy and organizational skills are also required. Must be admitted to practice law in New York State.
