REAL ESTATE/CORPORATE LEGAL ASSISTANT/SECRETARY ? McEwen Gisvold LLP, a downtown Portland law firm, seeks a full time real estate/corporate legal assistant/secretary.  This is a new position. At least two (2) years' secretarial or similar and real estate or corporate experience is required.  All candidates must have proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Adobe, good communication and organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail. Duties include telephone, mail and email communications, drafting and revising of loan and commercial transaction documents, finalization and forwarding of written communications, filing and file maintenance, and general administrative and secretarial support. The position requires superior word processing skills with accuracy, good time management, ability to multi-task, excellent organization skills, the ability to follow instructions, to work independently, and sound judgment. We are looking for a bright, hard working person whom we can train to be an integral part of our team. We offer a professional work environment that fosters a culture of inclusion and camaraderie.  

37.5 hour work week and benefits. Salary $45,000 ? $60,000 annual, depending on experience.

Higher education, relevant experience, and knowledge of Excel a plus.
