Law Firm

Attorney

Litigation - Foreclosure (Lender-side)

3-6 yrs required

Profile

Our Team is looking for a lateral attorney between 3-6 years of experience. Preferably within the HOA and Community law space but are ultimately seeking those who want to make a difference and have a passion for growing something with an ambitious team.

The firm is looking to double its size over the next 24 months, as well as initiate several innovative solutions to create new revenue streams with the underlining principle of adding value for the clients and managers we service. This could include the expansion of practice areas that are complementary to our core experience. Community law is not one of the immediate areas people consider coming out of law school, but it acts as an excellent calibration tool which will test your desire to be in a client-focused practice. Community law is about working through problems that are equal parts human dynamic and black letter law.  This will enable those who are hungry and passionate for growth to understand the path of succession at our firm. The organization is undergoing a complete transformation in the way it will conduct business in the years ahead. We are looking for individuals who want to add value to the place they work, not just with billable hours, but also with creative thinking as to how we continuously differentiate ourselves in a competitive marketplace.

At our core, we are a lifestyle firm. Our billing requirements fall between 1200-1400 hours a year. And should you have a stronger desire to exceed that goal, our firm has yet to negatively penalize an overachiever.  As with any legal position there are another 100-200 hours of non-productive time which are essential to keep the wheels on the bus turning but are not directly monetized.

Our core values and definitions are as follows:

Balance:

“Enabling solutions that optimizes time and promotes well-being of our individual team members while balancing the commitments and expectations of our firm.”

Effectiveness:

“Determining and aligning our client’s expectations with our work, cost, and effort.”

Quality:

“Adding value with each interaction and work product to shape retention and brand recognition.”

Honesty:

“Promoting an atmosphere capable of hosting direct, respectful and sometimes unpopular conversations with the intention creating a stronger relationship. “

Prosperous:

“Build the organizational skillset to deliver maximum returns in the form of equity, cash, and sustainability with consistent reinvestment upon our success.”

If this sounds like a team you would be interested in being a part of, I would welcome an opportunity to speak with you to understand if you’re a cultural fit; whether you have hunger to be a part of a deliberate growth strategy; and finally, a healthy peppering of your legal skillset and how that may translate into the work we do.

Company Profile

Our firm represents community associations exclusively. We do not represent developers, management companies, individuals, Boards of Directors, or Directors individually. Instead, we concentrate on those issues that are universally important to Colorado community associations—collecting delinquent assessments, enforcing covenants, interpreting and revising governing documents and attending what can sometimes be difficult Board and Member meetings, as well as covering all other facets of homeowner association law. We believe that an association is only as healthy as its current Board of Directors. Our goal is to work as a team with the Board thereby making the task of serving on the Board as easy as possible so that those volunteers with families, jobs, and other life interests have the ability and the desire to undertake such an important role in their community.
