ProfileHouston office of BCG Top Law Firm seeks labor and employment attorney with 10-20 years of labor and employment litigation experience. The candidate must have solid experience in one or more of the following areas: advice and counsel to businesses of all sizes regarding applicable local, state, and federal employment laws and significant management litigation experience in a wide variety of employment issues. Experience in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including drafting pleadings, taking depositions, and arguing motions is required. Experience with public and private sector unions is valued. Must have a thorough understanding of the substantive requirements of relevant local, state and federal laws including, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Act, Fair Labor Standards Act and other relevant labor and employment laws. Should preferably be a subject matter expert in the relevant practice areas. Must have a portable book of business and a demonstrated drive for additional business generation. Current admission to the Texas Bar must be active and in good standing. Additional Bar licenses are beneficial.
