Monitor on-going matter activity and pending deadlines in litigation and transactional matters. Exercise independent judgment towards matter preparation and initiate contact with clients, attorneys and other involved parties. Conduct legal research and preform administrative tasks as requested. Will be preparing state and federal pleadings and civil cover sheets. Filing court documents electronically. Preparing and monitoring the service of the complaints. Drafting and filing EEOC Charges and responses. Drafting various correspondence and legal documents.Work with clients and assist in responding to discovery requests. Compile, organize and bate stamp discovery responses. Drafting and responding to subpoenas. Conducting legal research on various employment issues. Calendaring. Handle a large case load immediately.
