Junior to Midlevel Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney

San Diego office of our client seeks junior to mid-level intellectual property associate attorney with 2-5 years of experience preferably litigation, prosecution or corporate. The candidate works closely with leading venture-backed startup and emerging growth companies in a variety of fields, including technology, life sciences, financial services and consumer products. Focuses on drafting and negotiating agreements on behalf of clients, providing general intellectual property and business counseling, and working on transactions in all stages of the clients’ businesses, from formation to financings and acquisitions. Expect to collaborate with their colleagues across offices, handle several matters concurrently and have client contact early in their career. Must have experience in corporate, patent litigation or prosecution. Strong preference for admission to practice with the State Bar of California. Prior experience in technology transactions is a plus. Previous large law firm experience is required.
