Job Description:

As the Director, Ethics & Compliance Counsel, you will play a crucial role in maintaining Synopsys' ethical standards and compliance with laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include conducting internal investigations, driving programmatic improvements, developing and managing anti-bribery and anti-corruption programs, and monitoring changes in compliance-related laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for advising on global competition law considerations and developing tailored trainings to target key risks.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct internal investigations related to potential violations of company policy and/or law
- Partner cross-functionally to drive programmatic improvements to the global ethics and compliance program
- Develop and manage an anti-bribery and anti-corruption program to address risks arising under the . Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other global ABAC laws
- Leverage data and analytics for ABAC KPIs and KRIs
- Develop and launch tailored micro-burst trainings
- Advise on global competition law considerations
- Monitor changes in compliance-related laws, regulations, and government enforcement initiatives

Requirements:

- . from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar
- 10+ years of compliance and risk management experience, with in-house experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of the . Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other global ABAC requirements
- Experience navigating global competition laws, rules, and regulations
- Experience conducting global internal investigations and responding to governmental inquiries
- Experience developing and managing ABAC programs
- Ability to understand complex issues and provide concise legal advice
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders

Salary Information:

The base salary range for this role is between $203,000 - $350,000 across the . In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys also offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on various job-related factors.
