General Liability Associate Attorney The candidate will independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end. Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims. Regularly handle court appearances and depositions (including expert depositions). Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects. Communicate with clients and provide status reports. Must have a JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the state of Texas with 2+ years of defense litigation experience. Should have experience in one or more of the following areas: Commercial Litigation, Commercial and Products Liability, Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Healthcare. Experience drafting discovery and motions is a must. Experience handling court appearances, depositions, and trial experience is a plus. Must have superior communication, writing, and research skills. Legal project management experience is helpful.
