Qualifications: Excellent academic credentials, including a BA/BS and Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in a US state, and either in good standing in New Jersey or able to obtain a NJ limited license for in-house counsel. 3-5 years of legal experience. Demonstrate values and commitment to compliance on a consistent basis. Proficiency with Word, Powerpoint and other corporate standard software - required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience for a pharma/biotech company, FDA or other relevant governmental agency, or for a law firm working on healthcare-related matters. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, able to work independently, reliable, responsive, and accountable to deliver results. Sound judgment and commitment to ethical conduct. Ability to develop, present and follow-through on innovative solutions. Team player with a commitment to developing strong collaborative relationships with legal colleagues, clients and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to understand legal principles and compliance, as well as business requirements. Commitment to proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and engaging with appropriate stakeholders to propose solutions. Solution-oriented; business-oriented. High level of professionalism. Proven ability/interest in working across a broad range of subject matter areas. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities simultaneously and still meet high quality and timeliness standards under pressure, with a sense of urgency.
