Job Overview: A well-established law firm located in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a talented and experienced attorney to join its Business Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trusts and estates, with a demonstrated commitment to providing top-tier legal services.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and counsel on trust and estate matters
• Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents
• Represent clients in estate-related litigation and disputes
• Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Stay updated with laws and regulations related to estate planning, trusts, and tax matters
• Manage client relationships and ensure their legal needs are met efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience practicing trusts and estates law
• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and courtroom presentation
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to clients
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work collaboratively within a legal team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in the state of Louisiana

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Louisiana State Bar
