Family Law Paralegal
The candidate will be responsible for: Tracking litigation process and assisting with management of case; Preparing Uniform Support Declarations, Discovery Requests, Declarations (TROs, MTCs, Protective Orders, Status Quo Orders), various Motions; Organizing and profiling eDiscovery and Discovery File Organization and Production; Analyzing Income Accounts/Trace Funds; Coordinating and communicating with other opposing counsel and other outside professionals (DHS, police officers, mental health professionals, evaluators, government officials); Witness coordination; initial witness interviews; Creating hearing notebooks, trial preparation materials, outlines and trial exhibit notebooks; Family creation experience, including adoption and surrogacy, a big plus. Should have 3+ years of prior family law paralegal experience. Proficiency in word processing, document and calendar management software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat is needed. Must exercise a high level of confidentiality and discretion working with clients, court staff, and other parties, while balancing multiple priorities and case matters.
