Legal Assistant/Paralegal Candidate will communicate clearly and effectively, manage high volumes of tasks and projects, react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround, think creatively, exercise strong judgment, and be proactive in solving problems that affect clients. Must have: 3 years’ experience as a legal assistant. Experience working in a Law Firm a must. Corporate and Litigation experience preferred Must be customer-service oriented and have great attention to detail while still meeting deadlines, strong organizational skills, and the ability to easily switch gears. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company are essential. Requires superior attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be able to work both independently and with a team. Clear and comprehensive interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills. Excellent typing skills - minimum 50 wpm. Ability to draft general pleadings and correspondence required. Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer. Dependable, organized, detail oriented, self-motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
