Duties:

• Handle a variety of litigation cases from inception to completion
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies
• Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal precedents and changes in the law
• Provide high-quality legal counsel and representation to clients

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
• 1-3 years of Prior insurance defense encouraged
• Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
• Demonstrated experience in courtroom litigation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the North Carolina Bar
