Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including compliance, disputes, and workplace policies.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, employee handbooks, and various related legal documents.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigation involving employment-related matters.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare briefs on relevant case law and regulatory updates.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop effective strategies and solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and proactive service.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in New York State or eligible to waive into the New York State Bar.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients and develop effective service strategies.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the New York State Bar is required.
