Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate responsibilities will include: Provides direct legal support for multiple attorneys; Provide trial preparation and trial assistance; Prepares and formats legal pleadings and tracks litigation deadlines; Files documents with state and federal courts, the Office of Administrative Hearings, and other government agencies; Manages and maintains legal files. Must have High School degree. Associate s degree, Bachelor s degree, or Paralegal certificate is preferred. Should have 3 years of relevant work experience. Litigation support experience is desired. Experience with LexisNexis, PACER, document management software, and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is a plus. In-depth knowledge of the North Carolina and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure is helpful.
