Litigation Associate The candidate must have 2-4 years of experience in general litigation. The position provides an opportunity to handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, court appearances, and motion practice in a variety of complex cases in a wide range of industries. Should preferably have litigation experience in Connecticut and New York state and federal courts, including motion practice and discovery, taking and defending depositions, appearing in court, and an ability to work independently in a busy atmosphere. Trial experience helpful. Experience with employment law, insurance coverage, and intellectual property is preferred. Should have excellent academic credentials, legal research and writing skills, and strong analytical ability. Connecticut Bar admission required. New York and/or Massachusetts Bar admissions a plus.
