Corporate Paralegal The candidate will assist the Vets First Choice in-house legal and finance teams in managing the corporate reporting and governance requirements for the company. The Paralegal will assist with drafting and review of documents for filing requirements and will liaise with Company departments, outside counsel, and outside tax advisors. Duties will include: Corporate Compliance, Reporting and Governance. Assisting with company compliance and regulatory matters, including the drafting, preparation, review, coordination, and filing of documents. Preparing, distributing and coordinating annual regulatory and compliance filings. Assisting with distribution of various corporate documents for execution and legalization. Assisting in the maintenance of corporate records; and uploading documents and updating entity information. Providing corporate reporting and regulatory calendars. Performing legal and financial research. Assisting with special projects as needed.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelors degree or Associateâ€™s degree with paralegal certificate. Should have 5-7 years experience assisting with corporate compliance and governance. Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Superior organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to concisely digest, present / report information; excellent attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with executives and staff at all levels, board members, and outside counsel. Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and Internet are mandatory; Salesforce a plus.
