Civil Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be drafting discovery requests, objections and responses. Will be conducting document review. Preparing federal and state court form pleadings. Preparing subpoena duces tecums and witness subpoenas. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Typing and drafting routine correspondence. Electronically filing pleadings and motions. Ability to conduct legal research in Westlaw is a plus. Outstanding written and verbal communications skills required. Mastered Microsoft Word and Excel skills needed. Exceptional customer relations skills required. Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience as a paralegal required. Experience in the federal civil litigation field preferred. Paralegal certification is a plus.
