Compliance Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Provide advice and counsel to Human Resources professionals and other business partners; provide labor and employment advice related to the company's strategic initiatives, hiring practices, discipline and discharge issues, workplace matters, and company policies; Responsible for creating, implementing and sustaining a Compliance program including policies and procedures and communications and training program; Responsible for managing global litigation docket including developing and managing strategic approaches to cases of varying complexity; Partnering with outside counsel, experts and litigation support vendors including setting strategy and staffing, setting and tracking budgets, enforcing adherence to billing guidelines, and aligning efficient and effective case management; assigns appropriate law firms to legal matters to ensure best outcome at the lowest cost; Collaborate with internal clients to align business needs with legal strategy; work with CLO to advise on legal & compliance trends and develop business processes to reduce risk; Work with insurers to manage insured claims docket; Work with Finance to set reserves; Partner with Operations, Commercial Management, Human Resources, Sales, Internal Audit, Supply Chain and other functions to implement procedures and processes to mitigate risk and avoid litigation.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate Doctorate or equivalent. Should have 10+ years industry experience is required with specific experience in construction litigation, labor & employment, and compliance matters. Proficient in English is necessary; Spanish a plus. Experience with U.S. and international litigation and arbitration. Substantive labor and employment experience including experience counseling clients on labor and employment matters. Ability to manage heavy workload in a high-pressure environment. Experience and understanding of international anti-corruption and global trade compliance laws and regulations. Must exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with reliable judgment. Must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills.
