Paralegal Responsibilities: Assist with obtaining required evidence and records. Analyze and draft medical and/or event chronologies. Preparing routine materials, proofreading, verifying, and editing all material for extreme accuracy and clarity. Organizing records for experts. Assist with reporting requirements to the insurer. Assist with scanning and filing pleadings electronically. Responsible for administrative support to the legal team, including calendar management and tickler system. Handles confidential information professionally and consistent with legal and ethical practices.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Paralegal Certificate required. Strong working knowledge of WordPerfect, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, and. Time Matters. Excellent investigative skills using the internet. Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written skills. Must manage highly confidential information with professionalism and integrity. Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task. Excellent telephone, writing, and proofreading skills. Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
