ProfileParalegal The candidate will serve as primary point of contact for company-wide requests for NDA’s. Will assist in the process of managing, reviewing and drafting a variety of documents, including client and vendor agreements. Help develop and manage organization systems and techniques. Draft correspondence and basic corporate documents. Maintain legal entity reporting. Manage trademark and copyright filings and related files. Maintain files related to corporate entities, leases, contracts, litigation, etc. Assist with due diligence and corporate transactions. Review and process law firm invoices internally and coordinate invoicing matters with law firm billing contacts. Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and filings. Provide assistance when available for garnishment requests. Conduct legal research and public records searches. Additional short-term and long-term projects as assigned. Must have prior in-house transactional paralegal experience and familiarity with corporate entities and related filings, due diligence and data rooms, managing contracts, regulatory reporting, trademark and copyright matters, legal research, and law firm billing practices is required.Excellent communication skills – verbal and written is essential.College graduate or equivalent is essential. Must have 7+ years’ experience as a paralegal. Notary is a plus. Experience with exposure to confidential information and an understanding of the importance of maintaining such confidentiality including personnel related, legal and financial information is essential. Strong knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio is essential. Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
