ProfileCourt Services Supervisor II The candidate will supervise, monitor, evaluate, lead, and oversee the work activities and staff resources of a team or work unit consisting of professional and support staff. Duties will include: assigning work and specific duties to staff / team members; directing and coordinating work between units or teams; communicating Human Resources policies, rules, or regulations to team members; scheduling team members leave time; conducting work performance advisories with staff; evaluating unit or team performance; mediating staff conflicts; reviewing and correcting work of staff and checking written reports for accuracy and completeness, providing extensive customer service to a broad range of court users; tracking cases for case management purposes; developing and formulating procedures and practices to ensure efficient unit operations; monitor a civil caseload and interact with Judges, staff, and the public; develop and reconcile statistical reports. This position requires strong communication skills and is responsible for all aspects of case processing from intake through disposition, including docketing, case preparation, calendaring, records management, adjournments and dismissals.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience, 1+ year of which shall have included experience in calendar management; case management; enforcement of court orders; and / or supervision, monitoring and intervention of offenders and / or development, coordination, analysis, implementation, administration or research. For-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. An associate's degree and two years of additional paraprofessional and / or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Or master's degree may be substituted for one year of general experience as indicated above OR a law degree may be substituted for two years of general experience as indicated above.
