Paralegal / Contracts Manager The candidate will serve as the main point-of-contact for client work requests, with a heavy focus on the review, signature and storage of contracts. Will maintain data relating to contracts and assist with the implementation of a contract management system. Independently support contract needs of various departments and act as the primary liaison between business and legal departments for agreements. Manage agreement from draft to submission, including logging and updating contract management system for agreements. Ensure agreements are reviewed and handled in a timely manner, and all records are accurately maintained in document management system. Organize and conduct meetings with leaders and business stakeholders to outline business priorities; provide updates on the status of assigned agreements; and respond to inquiries related to agreements. Organize and manage training to business stakeholders on company policies and processes. Perform administrative functions including: scheduling meetings/conference calls, maintaining departmental files both physical and electronic, managing contract flow and ongoing maintenance of the contract and document management systems. Generate and track status reports. Organize and maintain corporate documents. Work on other legal projects, as needed. Must have Bachelorâ€™s degree with 7+ years of contract management/paralegal experience in a law firm setting. Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus. Must have proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
