Fellow - Trademark and IP The Fellow will work with Trademark and other Intellectual Property attorneys to: Conduct research in on various trademark, copyright, licensing, rights of publicity and related matters. Conduct US Preliminary and comprehensive trademark searches. Draft cease and desist letters related to trademark matters. Draft memoranda and provide analysis related to IP/Trademark matters. Draft responses to substantive US office actions. Assist the Chief Global Executive Brand Counsel with simplification projects, workflow function improvement and other legal work. Assist the Chief IP Counsel, Global Chief Privacy Officer, and Critical Information Protection Leader with research, memoranda, simplification projects, workflow function improvement and other legal work.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: JD Degree from an accredited law school is required by the start date. The lawyer will sit for a Bar exam. Desired: GPA of at least 3.3 preferred. Graduating Spring 2018 and sitting for the bar over the summer are welcome to apply. Proven record of success and demonstrated leadership ability. Expert- level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. PowerPoint and Excel). Solid research and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
