ProfileContracts and Compliance Manager The candidate will work closely with the Director, Strategic Partnerships Contracts and Compliance to ensure the strategic objectives are met in all areas. Will perform various administrative duties for the Director, Strategic Partnership Contracts and Compliance such as maintaining a record of legal and policy documentation, drafting corporate actions and agreements, sending required state agent license applications to team members, reviewing/editing state agent license applications prior to state submittal, attending potential client calls to answer questions regarding contract terms, and reviewing team members' contract modifications before contract sent to client. Research, identify, and ensure department is adhering to compliance rules. Assists various cross-functional teams in appropriately managing risk, and supports the needs of the department and company initiatives. Proven ability to problem solve, think independently and tackle projects with minimal supervision while maintaining timely and efficient organization. Properly use and care for all company equipment and marketing materials. Be responsible with company resources including monthly expense accounting. Work collaboratively within the Education Partnerships team and with other departments.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 2+ years of experience working as a paralegal or in a similar capacity within the legal field. Bachelor's degree required. Strong research and report-generating skills is required. Experience in higher education market and industry preferred. Must be experienced with electronic research tools, and/or basic database skills. Must be skilled in Word, Excel, PDF-based programs, databases, PowerPoint and Visio.
