Job Title: Mid-Level Venture and Growth Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Venture and Growth Associate Attorney. This role focuses on providing legal support and representation for commercial finance matters, particularly for lenders such as banks and private credit funds. Candidates should have strong experience in venture and growth finance, working on loans to middle-market companies in technology, life sciences, and related sectors. The position requires a proactive professional with exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, business professionals, and third parties verbally and in writing.
• Produce high-quality deliverables in an efficient and timely manner.
• Handle phone calls and respond to correspondence as needed.
• Meet deadlines and fulfill job responsibilities under time-sensitive conditions.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Comply with all firm policies and procedures.
• Participate in meetings, and virtual calls, and work on a computer for extended periods.
• Manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in lender-side representation for commercial finance matters.
• Proven experience working with banks and private credit funds on loans to technology, life sciences, or middle-market companies.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to work collaboratively or independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission in Minnesota is required.
