Legal Assistant (Litigation) Duties: Compose letters, transcribe dictation, correspond with clients, submit state and federal filings electronically, manage attorney calendars, prepare pleadings, schedule out of town trips and depositions, communicate with Judges, Court Officials, and outside counsel, open and sort mail, set up new client files and make time entries for attorneys in ProLaw, submit check requests, and answer phone calls for multiple attorneys.

Qualification and Experience

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED. Prior experience in administrative and legal tasks is preferred. Must have strong knowledge of current state and federal electronic filing guidelines. Experience with ProLaw software is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and strong computer skills. Strong verbal and written skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Teamwork-willingness to help others when needed. Professionalism in the workplace.
