A law firm seeks an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its team in Cincinnati, OH. The attorney will primarily represent commercial real estate owners in transactions involving the development, purchase, sale, and financing of office buildings, medical office spaces, biotech labs, and both market-rate and affordable apartment properties. The role also involves working with lenders, landlords, and tenants on commercial leases, as well as handling joint venture agreements and equity syndication documents. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled real estate attorney to manage complex transactions in a collaborative environment.

Duties:

  • Represent commercial real estate owners in development, purchase, sale, and financing transactions.
  • Work with lenders on commercial loan transactions and advise landlords and tenants on commercial lease agreements.
  • Negotiate joint venture agreements and prepare equity syndication documents.
  • Coordinate and supervise complex real estate transactions from inception through closing.
  • Conduct legal research and draft related transactional documents, such as contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to handle transactions across various markets nationwide.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in high-level commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong ability to manage complex real estate deals, including acquisitions, sales, and financing.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for handling detailed real estate agreements and negotiations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Ohio.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in real estate law, commercial leasing, and financing.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills for contracts and real estate agreements.
  • Ability to collaborate with a legal team on multi-faceted transactions.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
