Legal Assistant/Paralegal Responsibilities: Working with the legal team in the preparation and filing of all court documents and in the organization of briefs, exhibits and appendices. Establishing, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic versions of case file materials. Performing various duties relating to discovery, including preparation for depositions and coordination of document productions, document gathering, review and organization. Trial preparation support and conduct factual and legal research. Maintaining docket/calendars for review of important deadlines and events.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: 2+ years' experience (ideally) working as a legal assistant or litigation paralegal in a law firm (a plus). Experience with electronic filings. Outstanding interpersonal skills and client service skills. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to organize, prioritize and execute numerous tasks under tight time constraints. Must be a team player and possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently in high pressure, time sensitive situations. Intermediate technical knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Ability to conduct legal research utilizing online tools such as Westlaw, Lexis/Nexis.
