Legal Assistant The candidate will be drafting and preparing legal documents (Notice of Entries, Lis Pendens, etc.); Copy, Scan & Mail documents; Data entry on internal spreadsheets and client based computer programs; Review & distribute mail; Prepare finalized legal motions for filing by assembling submission packets; Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Should have minimum requirement of 1 -3 years administrative experience with at least 1 year of legal experience, preferably in a corporate setting. Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook and Excel. Should have professional written and communication skills. Should have strong word processing and proofreading skills. Should have ability to work meticulously to ensure the quality of your product. Must have excellent phone manner and written and oral communication skills.
