Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Tax Senior Manager The candidate as a member of team, will be involved with working closely with private equity firms, public and privately held companies, advising them on tax structuring matters, financial and tax due diligence, and assistance with closing M&A transactions. Develops, grows and serves as a firm technical resource for the U.S. income tax aspects of financial due diligence and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Leverages technical knowledge and experience to provide effective project management and practice development; delivering timely and responsive services and products that meet and/or exceed client expectations. Significant involvement in firm's private equity practice, including building relationships and delivery of services. Assists with proposals and business development, including the development of marketing materials and web-based marketing initiatives. Writes and/or co-authors due diligence and M&A articles for publication. Develops and participates in public speaking opportunities at tax conferences and events.

Qualification and Experience

A Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in Taxation or J.D. with LLM in Tax preferred. Should have 7 years of tax experience; preferably gained within a public accounting firm. Must have 2 years of specialized in Transaction Services experience, specifically including financial due diligence and mergers and acquisition tax consulting. Previous experience in specializing in Transaction Services experience, specifically including financial due diligence and mergers and acquisition tax consulting required. Must have previous experience with modelling the potential tax consequences of a transaction. Should have significant experience working with Private Equity. Possesses ability to analyze complex business and transaction situations is needed. Must have experience supervising and training staff. Should have strong project management and organizational skills. Must have excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills. Strong presentation skills and strong organizational techniques are needed.
