Legal Assistant Duties: Work closely with firmâ€™s shareholders who practice in areas of general litigation, foreclosure, and transactional work. Provide the finest legal services to clients, and therefore seek motivated candidates who are willing to work alongside attorneys in maximizing the client experience. Effectively organize data or information for presentation; and Maintain well organized electronic and hard copy files for attorneys; Show initiative in establishing procedures that anticipate attorney needs so as to fulfill deadlines; Effectively manage attorney calendars and docketing of deadlines; Effectively communicate and cooperate with other staff and attorneys; Display professional interactions with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel; Display a high level of accuracy and review in preparation of documents.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Have excellent skills with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint; Have experience in preparing, reviewing, filing and serving court pleadings and other litigation documents; Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills; Be able to prepare and maintain spreadsheets; Be able to transcribe dictation; Be able to work independently, asking for assistance as necessary.
