Legal Assistant - Corporate The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in Corporate Transactional matters, with emphasis in business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate finance. Will also assist in covering the front desk/receptionist responsibilities. Responsibilities include: Managing assigned attorneys calendars, and appointments; Making travel arrangements as needed; Screening incoming client calls and correspondence and responding as necessary; Composing and preparing confidential correspondence, reports and other complex documents; Creating and maintaining spreadsheet files, including use of formulas; Conducting attorney time entry and billing; Maintaining confidentiality of all firm and client matters; Performing other duties as assigned. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, bachelor's degree is preferred.
