Litigation Paralegal The candidate will provide paralegal support to the firm's litigation attorneys and assistants, manage the firm's e-discovery software and processes, as well as supervise and oversee the litigation support team members. Will perform legal, internet and background research and data compilation. Prepare reports and correspondence. Organize and index complex case files and/or discovery. Prepare for and attend trials. Review and evaluate e-discovery software. Provide training as needed. Review litigation work processes and recommends changes when applicable. Draft a wide variety of legal documents, including discovery, complaints and answers, and declarations. Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff. Should have a professional demeanor and strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal as well as certification from an ABA-approved Paralegal training program.

I would like to see management put in place a few younger attorneys so that there is an appropriate balance between change and unwillingness to change. Right now the firm feels like it's stuck in its way's which is a real shame.

Pros : I learned a lot while working at this firm and formed some good relationships with other coworkers. I also thought the work was interesting and never dull.
Cons : Some of the senior level attorney's and management members are a bit stubborn and seemed unwilling to change their ways. This led to difficulties in more than quite a few instances.
