Personal Injury Legal Assistant
The candidate establishes and organizes case files for new and existing clients. Maintains case management system by uploading all client documents. Keeps clients informed on a regular basis by maintaining contact with client; communicating case progress. Supports case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences, preparing pleadings, etc. Monitor and obtain discovery responses. Request medical records from providers. Other duties as assigned. 2-5 years experience as a legal assistant or case manager is preferred. Experience in using a case management system, preferably Needles is preferred. Strong Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) is preferred. Strong ability to multi-task and strong organizational skill is preferred.
