Job Title: Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A reputable law firm located in Stanton, CA, is seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to handle work injury claims for injured workers. The position requires overseeing all aspects of workers' compensation cases, from discovery and depositions to negotiations and settlements, ensuring clients receive appropriate benefits such as medical, disability, and impairment compensation. This role is ideal for attorneys who are eager to challenge large corporations and insurance companies to advocate for their client's best interests.

Duties:

• Handle workers' compensation cases from start to finish, including litigation, depositions, discovery, and negotiations.
• Represent clients in hearings and before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).
• Prepare and review legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Conduct case evaluations and prepare strategies for each case.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide status updates on claims.
• Perform legal research and analysis related to cases.
• Assist with administrative tasks connected to legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• Some knowledge or experience in workers' compensation law (training provided).
• Ability to handle a large caseload and effectively manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Willingness to collaborate with non-attorney team members.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to providing excellent client service and support.

Education:

• Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Must be a licensed attorney with a valid Bar Admission in the state of California.

Certifications:

• Passed the California Bar Exam.
