Litigation Staff Associate Duties: Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions and other litigation documents Regularly handling court appearances, and conducting and defending depositions Conducting legal research and writing memoranda Managing all aspects of Discovery (documents, written discovery, review and depositions). Working on all aspects of pretrial to trial. Managing and coordinating workflow between junior associates and paralegals. Supporting the team by performing work on other litigation-related matters. Will work directly with partners and other team members to contribute to a dynamic Litigation practice.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: 6-8 years of commercial litigation experience. Has excellent written communication skills and can effectively relay research into meaningful written work product. Understands the importance of client service and is committed to building client relationships. Superior organizational and time-management skills. Is dedicated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic. Strong litigation skills, such as serving as the case management lead, taking depositions, and demonstration of superb oratory skills are required; significant deposition and court experience is preferred. Federal District Court or Appellate clerkship(s) is preferred. Should be licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia and be in good standing.
