Contracts Administrator/Legal Coordinator The Candidate will be responsible for Serving in an administrative capacity for all contract matters, including coordinating contract requests, from accepting requests in the contracts database, verifying that the requests are complete, assigning the request to the appropriate legal reviewer, and tracking status, including handling all internal contract inquiries. Preparing simple agreements, including confidentiality agreements, contractor agreements, and simple service agreements, with the potential to expand into preparing more complex agreements in the future. Coordinating internal signatures on all agreements and corporate documents in accordance with the Company’s signature authority policy. Training contract owners on the contract request process and use of the contracts database. Proactively identifying, designing, and implementing enhancements to the contract process. Managing, storing, and organizing both paper and electronic versions of all contracts and corporate documents in the Company’s filing systems, and entering key contract information into the database. Supporting the legal team on light administrative duties – filing, scanning, recordkeeping, managing calendars.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. A paralegal degree or certification is preferred with 3-5 years of previous contracts administration level experience of drafting and reviewing confidentiality agreements, contractor agreements and simple contracts. Should be familiarity with administering a legal contract database and have experience in reviewing and understanding contract language to pull key information for tracking purposes. Must be highly organized and detail oriented, with a “take ownership” attitude with Strong computer software skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, contract management database). Should have strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
